Kathmandu. The preliminary round program between the last 22 contestants of Asian Paint Miss Universe Nepal 2023 has ended.
The judges ask question to all the last 22 contestants today in a ceremony held in Kathmandu at dusit princess.
In the preliminary question and answer session, the judges were Raviraj Upal Mazumdar, Sun International Managing Director and Nepal Equestrian Association President Raviraj Karnikar, Nepal Telecom Chief Commercial Officer Sangita Pahadi, Meraki Nepal Founder Director, Ayusha Karki Shrestha, Nepal Tourism Board Senior Director Nandini Thapa, Nari Patrika Head Editor Upasana Ghimire,. mr. Pandey, news anchor of Kantipur Television, and Prashant Tamrakar, actor and official choreographer of Miss Universe Nepal 2023, were present.
They questioned the contestants about how they took the role of Miss Universe and social, political and economic issues along with social change.
Umang Creation Director Uddhav Adhikari said that based on the scores obtained from the question and answer session and the scores obtained by the contestants through voting, the best 10 contestants will be announced in the finale and one winner will be announced from the 22 contestants.
He said that for the past three years, Miss Universe has been organized in Choreography with the concept of Prashant Tamrakar and for the fourth year also, competitors have been announced in Tamrakar’s choreography.
He said, Prashant Tamrakar’s choreography and concept has established Miss Universe Nepal as the most prestigious beauty show in Nepal today.
He also informed that this session has been carried forward according to the format of Miss Universe.
As the final 22 contestants of Asian Paint Miss Universe, Prapti Khadka, Sabina Chaudhary, Channel Shrestha, Prema Lamgade, Dr. Pooja Bhagat, Rozina Kafle, Garima Ghimire, Palishta Bajracharya, Dr. Amisha Basnet, Sanskriti Kshetri Karki, Trishna Bania, Buddhasar Sunar, Pooja Paudel, Jane Deepika Garrett, Manita Paswan, Sushma RL Shahi, Abhilasha Lamsal, Elista Subedi, Mousumi Shrestha.
The final of ‘Asian Paints Miss Universe Nepal 2023’ is being organized on August 23 at the conference center of Godavari.
Out of the 22 finalists, the winner will represent Nepal at the Miss Universe in El Salva Door in November.
