Organized by the Film Development Board, the ‘National Film Award and Long Service Award 2080’ has been completed. President Ramchandra Paudel presented the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ in 2078 to actress Lakshmi Giri and to actor Shiv Shrestha for ”Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2080 at a ceremony held at president resident Sheetal Niwas here today.
Both of them were honored with Rs.375,000 each. Similarly, actor Harivansh Acharya (Mahapurush), actress Diya Maske (Prakash), director Dinesh Raut (Prakash), writer Dipendra K Khanal (Cold Man), cinematographer Purushottam Pradhan (Lappan Chhappan 2), editor Nimesh Shrestha (Dokh) were awarded for the movie awards. happened
Similarly, ‘Aina Jhyalko Putli’ and ‘Gorkha Under the Bravery’ were given special awards by the jury. They were rewarded with Rs. 25,000 each. Addressing the award distribution and honoring ceremony, Communication and Information Technology Minister Rekha Sharma congratulated the honored and awarded filmmakers.
Film Development Board Chairman Bhuvan KC said that he was happy to present the award for two years. He said, “Everyone cannot be included in the award, but everyone is represented.” Since I became the president, I have been solving the problems that I have seen as a filmmaker. The board is working by giving special importance to the interests of the film industry.
At the ceremony, President Paudel awarded the ‘Special Movie Award 2078’ to two films ‘Tulki’ and ‘Nirmayan’ and the ‘Special Movie Award 2079’ to three films ‘Bulaki’, ‘Prasad 2’ and ‘Chiso Abogoo’ each with Rs 2 lakh each.
In the same ceremony, 35 film workers and organizations including actors Kiran KC, Arjun Shrestha, Ramchandra Adhikari, Arjunjung Shahi, lyricist Dabu Chhetri were honored with certificates for their special contribution to the film industry.
